We always go away from conferences overwhelmed by a sense of God’s mercy for each individual. Even so a few testimonies are special and give us deeper insight into God’s grace.
TULSA A woman wrote: Janet came over to minister and talk to me. She led me in forgiveness and had me list all the things I needed to forgive my mother for. My dad was the light of my life and my safe haven. But I did tell her that he had told my sister and me that we needed to take care of mother, ignore her meanness and lashing out, and be nice to her because she had had such a rough childhood. She led me in a prayer forgiving my Dad for putting that burden on me. She then said she thought that was the entryway. My accepting the lie from Dad. It is funny; I have always blamed Mom for feeling responsible. I never realized that I had accepted a lie. No wonder I have never been able to get free of "being responsible for everything". So I renounced the lie. Janet led me in a few other renunciations and forgiveness prayers.
It was a very emotionally draining experience. But something is different.... the heaviness is gone, I have been able to praise God freely without doing it with effort, the stomach ache I have had for eight months has left. I have a sense that God really loves me. I don't know if I have ever felt that before. I knew it, but I am starting to feel it .I have the feeling that this is the beginning of some new freedoms in Christ. I do want to thank you. May God give you back good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over.
BALTIMORE
Following prayer for an outstanding young man: His Mom who was instrumental in making sure we prayed with her son wrote: I have been trying to think of a concise way to write and fill you in on the impact of the freedom weekend...The result of prayer with my son is, a new life... He continues to enjoy freedom from anger and condemnation. He has been noticing all sorts of patterns in his life that up to now he was oblivious to. Comments like "do I sound like that when I get mad" (referring to his younger brother) Lots of Joy from him... Good school attitude and a lot of relational changes for him. He has been reading the bible with a lot of "feeling" from the text... like it is alive to him...and he is seeking fellowship in the church in a way He HATED before now... I'd say "new life" sums it up.
A Christian leader. This leader had become neutralized in his service for the last few years. After being ministered to he wrote: “I have never known the peace and joy and freedom that I know today. The mountains and hills are singing his name and the trees are shouting “Alleluia”! I can’t stop crying and praising the Lord. It is welling up like living water. There are streams now in what was my dessert.”
PENNSYLVANIA
One woman in Pennsylvania came with her mother for prayer: “I have been experiencing some wonderful freedom lately! My Mom is doing well! She says that the old stuff is completely gone and that it is the everyday stuff that is harder to walk in freedom on. This weekend we had a family reunion and we saw one of my Aunts that my Mom had to forgive that day and she didn't want to be in the same room at one point. So I said to her... "Remember Mom, you are free!' And she laughed and went on in freedom! It has been a joy going through all this with my Mother.
My 10-year-old daughter was listening to me talking with my mom. After I hung up she said, "Mom, why didn't you say 'I love you'? You always say it to me." So I called her back and said by the way... we are free ------ Free to Love! I told her what my daughter said and we both said, “I love you”. Hours later she was talking to her Mother (92) and told her the story. They hung up and My Grandmother called my mom back and said. Marion, you are my daughter and I love you! Then that night I was talking to my Dad and when we were hanging up he said really loud. I love you Marie!! And I said it to him! Now my whole family is saying I love you more that we ever have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TESTIMONIES
From USA Loved the book. Received deliverance regarding a dog that the neighbors poisoned when I was a child. From the book I realized the unstated lie was "everything you love will be taken away from you". No wonder I've had such anxiety about really loving someone. What an ugly captivity. Now I have knowledge and when that lie pops up I can now speak to it and tell it to GO in Jesus name.
From Africa I want to share something with you. As soon as we went through the forgiveness together and I let go of the unnecessary load I was carrying, I prayed to God about the issue that had made me embittered with my bosses and I experienced a lot of peace. One of the problems was financial which they are looking into without my asking. Another thing was the feeling of revenge which has since faded and replaced by a compassion that I cannot comprehend. I feel very elated and I pray for more.
From Africa A week after you left we went on a mission trip to Rombo. God was glorified! All those who opened themselves up to the Lord’s deliverance were set free. Leah and I arrived there on the evening of deliverance ministry. The teaching had been given by the parish priest in the conventional method. We filled ourselves into the ministry and applied the new model of ministry to those who had demonic manifestations. There were over a 100 persons and some of the manifestations were very violent. We witnessed success in all cases except a few who were bound in witchcraft and were not ready to renounce or were minors dedicated by parents to the evil kingdom and were still under the authority of their parents. The crowd was comprised of about 250 people and we saw the hand of God working in them.
From Africa Greetings from Kenya! Hope you are all fine and doing well. Myself too I am fine and not sick as often as before. The book is helping me and my sister to renounce everything bad coming our way. I tell you, I am free now and I am able now to forgive without difficulty as before.
Updates in September A priest wrote:
My eyes are opened and now see clearly that the Lord is leading along the path of freedom. It is more important to counsel and discern than attack directly the evil one. All along we have been blaming the devil for the conditions that keep us enslaved, but in your teaching I learn that we are fully in charge of our lives. People have to take authority over their lives. I was lucky because I had a chance to work with Janet with a number of cases that came to her; I was lucky to be tutored by her graceful presence. God bless you both in a mighty way.

“The seminar Neal Lozano presents on deliverance training is a very practical, timely answer to ministry needs in the church today. It is the kind of practical teaching and training both clergy and lay leaders in the church need to help those in their care.”
From Leadership Team of River Fellowship (Podolinec, Slovakia):
“The seminar was exactly what we need. Neal put the ministry of deliverance into normal everyday life. The whole seminar created an atmosphere of friendship and love and this gave people courage to ask for prayer. We thank Neal for his humility and openness and generosity in sharing with us what God has given to him.”

GREETINGS FROM THE UKRAINE!
We, the leadership team of the School of Evangelization in Krasilov want to thank you, Neal and Janet, for coming to our city for the third time and helping our people. We are grateful for your teaching on the older brother and freedom from evil spirits. Most of all we want to thank you for spending so many hours in prayer for the people.
Already now we can see many fruits of these teachings and prayers: many people received freedom from different evil spirits, especially from spirits of unforgiveness, fear, anger, despair, loneliness, rejection and many others. A lot of people renounced the occult practice and realized that God had given them the authority over their lives. All these people testify that now they feel in their hearts peace, love, freedom and hope and it is very important for them. I AM FREE! Even today many of the participants of the School say these words meeting each other. And many of them really experience it (freedom) in their lives. During the time of testimonies, they were floating like a river. We were listening to them during two hours, and there were still many people who wanted to testify release.
The teaching on the older brother and prayers of deliverance helped many people to understand their problems, to find the roots and to get rid of them. For the first time in the history of our School we have heard so many testimonies and we would like to send some of them to you just to share our joy and gratitude!
Father Piotr OFMCap, the Pastor of our parish and leader of all the Schools of Evangelization in the Ukraine writes: Neal and Janet have come to us as real servants of God. They have a Father’s heart and a Mother’s heart that is so needed by our people, many of whom come from situations of poverty and spiritual bandage. Neal’s teaching on deliverance is well balanced and it is the only method we use in all of the Schools of evangelization in the Ukraine. Many lives have been set free and many of these people will be future leaders in the Church as it is being rebuilt in the Ukraine.
Father Piotr is a significant leader in the Ukraine. He is a Polish priest sent here in 1996.
He is serving in the leadership of the Capuchins Order, starting Schools of evangelization throughout the Ukraine and pastoring the parish in Krasilov and the monastery of priests there.
He is in the process of rebuilding the Church and monastery from the ruins left by the government when it was under Communist control.
We send our greetings and blessing to all those who make it possible for Neal and Janet to come here. We pray that they will be able to return and go with us to new Schools of Evangelization that are being formed in this part of the world.

ANN ARBOR
Following a seminar in Ann Arbor Michigan Peter Hurbeck of Renewal Ministries wrote:
The seminar Neal Lozano presents on deliverance training is a very practical, timely answer to ministry needs in the church today. It outlines clear orthodox principles that address common spiritual obstacles and provides tested wisdom on how to help people come in touch with God's love, power and grace to bring real and lasting change in their lives.
This concrete application of biblical principles to common human struggles is helpful and unique in that this type of ministry is not happening much. I see it as a bridge from principle to practical help, a vehicle to minister the power of God into real life situations where breakthrough is needed - not just counseling - because of the spiritual origin of the problem.
It is an easily understandable and easily transmitted model for helping people apply the power of God in their own life and getting free of standing habitual patterns of sin or bondage.
It is the kind of practical teaching and training both clergy and lay leaders in church need to help those in their care.
SLOVAKIA
Below are excerpts from the report I received from Bohus Zivcak on behalf of leadership team of River of life fellowship in Slovakia:
It was exactly what we need. We have been looking for this kind of ministry for a few years. But what we had not found what we felt was exactly for us. We have known Neal and Janet for about 6 years and we trusted them. We arranged the seminar in two parts. First one was for a group of 40 people from the main fellowships in Slovakia. All of them were leaders working with people and most of them already trying to minister in the area of deliverance. We learned that our thinking about deliverance was a bit different from what Neal and Janet started to teach us. It was like a balm to our hearts, which were full of fear of spirits and the devil's work in our lives. Neal put the ministry of deliverance into the realm of normal everyday life and took off the veil of mystery that was the reason for our fears. Fr. Michael Zamkovsky who is a Redemptorist missionary and has been working in missions for many years in Slovakia, Ukraine, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Kazakhstan said that our people and the people in former communist countries need to hear about deliverance. Fr. Michael has a quite wide view of the situation in Catholic Church in Slovakia and surrounding countries and He is accepted as a spiritual authority in many of those countries.
The whole seminar went very peacefully and without any big manifestation. That gave people confidence and created an atmosphere of friendship and love. This atmosphere gave people courage to ask for prayer and opened them completely without any hidden area.
As a team of the leaders (5 of us together with Fr. Michael) we could say that those prayers had an incredible effect on our lives. On a general level we had opportunity to stand before each other "naked" which gave as closeness that we have never experienced up to this time. Now after 5 months we still feel this freedom in our relationship. Personally each of us experienced deep deliverance from the things that had held us for many years. As leaders we thought we had to cope with those "small" slaveries and we had to accept them as a necessary pain in our lives. Through the seminar we have learned that not all of them God wanted to be in our lives. The best feeling after the seminar in me is FREEDOM. Many of us had serious wounds from the past that limited us in our ministry. Now we know we can be free and we are free.
The second part of the seminar was open for people and we invited about 100 people for two days. What was the best for us was the simplicity of Neal’s method of praying for deliverance. After a few days we were able to pray effectively for people. We had prayed for people before but without any special effects in this area. Now we know how to pray. After a day and a half of teaching we created 6 small prayer teams and prayed for almost 50 people a prayer for deliverance. Many of the people said that the process of deliverance began in their lives and continues now.
At the beginning of June we went to Kazakhstan to do a school of evangelization for 90 lay people. From the beginning we could practice what we have learned from Neal. It was excellent how peaceful and effective this method was. Nobody was scared and about 6 people were freed from very heavy bondages. We had prayed for a 50 year old woman who couldn't forgive her father and hadn't had spoken to him for many years. After a prayer she was able to hug her father. Another woman was held in bondage by a rape in her teenage years. After a simple prayer she could dance till the end of the school before the Lord. We thank the Lord that He has blessed us by the seminar about deliverance just before our outreach to Kazakhstan. It is impossible to evangelize in this part of the world without this ministry. After our outreach to Kazakhstan another team of five (Fr. Michael was also among them) went to the school of evangelization in Lithuania and in Latvia. In each place approximately 50 leaders from the whole country attended the school. These are the words of Fr. Michael about that time: "We had prepared a solid amount of teaching but it seemed it was not the most important thing to do. From the first day people came for the prayer of intersession. After a little interview almost 95% of them turned to the prayer for deliverance. We prayed in the two teams and just the person who had the teaching session was out, the rest were praying all day long and finished at 1.00 after midnight every day. People were so broken and hurt by their fathers, mothers, and families that just to teach them how to live the Christian life wouldn't be fair to them. We were exhausted after two weeks of such a ministry but the fruits were unbelievable. People were kissing our hands and saying that they experienced a real love for the first time.. They said that this kind of deliverance seemed to them gentle and with love and acceptance. I think this is the most important ministry in most of the cases in the East and that the method of the ten steps Neal has taught us is the best that we can get. I personally as a priest thank Neal for his humility and openness and generosity in sharing with us what God has given to him."
ST. PAUL’S’ ALBANIAN CATHOLIC PARISH
The following was sent to us after we visited St. Paul’s’ Albanian Catholic parish in Michigan.
Dear Neal & Janet,
I am writing you on behalf of St. Paul’s’ Albanian Catholic prayer group and parish. We would like first to thank God for bringing you to us and thank you for saying yes to our lord on being instruments and followers of his. Both of you did a tremendous job of explaining and helping us all heal and delivering us from our inner most hurts. With your help I believe that the healing process will continue in the future. We see that you are truly being used by our lord to help in delivering people from the grips the devil can have on a person. We would also like to thank you for the wonderful teaching you did with the leaders of our prayer group. We hope the lord will continue to heal others through the teachings you generously shared over that weekend you spent with us. May God continue to work through both of you, and he bless you abundantly.

“A breakthrough book that is much needed because many Christians today seem to dismiss the presence of evil spirits as something of another time and place, and fail to avail themselves of a ministry to which Jesus Christ Himself calls us—the ministry of healing. In his clearly written, biblically based book, the author reminds Christians that deliverance or liberation from evil spirits is a continuing and normal part of the Christian experience. When we learn to cooperate with God’s grace, we are set free. “Surveys on spirituality and faith, as well as my own personal experience in the healing ministry, lead me to be profoundly thankful that this book has been written. It will bring new life and hope to countless Americans trapped in emotional, physical or spiritual bondages, and will send a powerful message to the Christian community as a whole.” George Gallup, Jr., Chairman: The George H. Gallup International Institute
“This is the most helpful book I know for dealing with evil spirits and related impairments in people’s lives. It makes an enormous contribution in sharing the path to internal freedom through the process of renunciation. The reader will experience new hope in acquiring freedom in Jesus Christ.” Rev. Michael Scanlan, T.O.R. Chancellor, Franciscan University of Steubenville
“This book will equip you to minister to those who are being oppressed... and, just as importantly, do so in a loving, counseling environment. I believe it should be part of the training of every church's ministry team or altar workers. I found the book engaging, exciting, helpful, clarifying, and most importantly it is written for the whole church.” Randy Clark, Global Awakening
“Unbound presents a practical, faith-filled way for Christians to rid their lives of the devil’s influence, and sound advice for helping others experience deliverance from the work of evil spirits. It is a must-read for anyone who wants to enjoy the fullness of spiritual freedom that Jesus won for us by His death and resurrection.” Bert Ghezzi, author of Voices of the Saints and Mystics and Miracles
"A gentle, thorough, easy-to-read guide for all of us who want to enter the ministry of Jesus setting the prisoners free. I enthusiastically recommend this book." Carol Wimber, Vineyard Christian Fellowship
Unbound is an excellent book and is just what is needed for the ordinary person working in deliverance ministry. Neal is to be commended for putting together the fundamentals in a readable manner. Rev. Robert DeGrandis, SSJ
“Neal Lozano’s book is an exceptionally fine practical guide showing us how to go about helping people who need deliverance. This book is nonsensational and well-balanced. …If you want to learn about the deliverance ministry or are already involved and want to learn how to minister more effectively, be sure to add this book to your library.” Francis MacNutt, Ph.D. President, Christian Healing Ministries Jacksonville, Florida
“A valuable tool for Christian ministry and a hands-on resource for anyone interested in this important subject or who has experienced the destruction connected with satanic manifestations. Its ideas and methods for handling this plaguing reality are biblical, practical and easy to follow. It is highly readable and conceptually clear. You will return to its insights over and over. Bishop C. Milton Grannum Ed.D. Ph.D. Pastor of the New Covenant Church of Philadelphia. (Church of God)
"Neal Lozano has been helping people for many years achieve levels of peace and freedom in their lives that they had never hoped to experience. I'm so glad that Neal has taken the time to write this book and share this valuable wisdom with many others." Ralph Martin, Renewal Ministries
“A thought-provoking book that deserves our attention and our meditation. Neal Lozano is not naïve; he knows the awful reality of human mental illness. But he is also attempting to give this spiritual battle the attention it deserves, and to fight it with the weapons the Lord Himself has put into the hands of those who believe.” Rev. Msgr. Thomas J. Herron, S.S.L., S.T.D. Pastor of St. Laurence Parish
“Those of us who have practiced deliverance and taught others to do so have learned to value books that provide basic instruction in this area, especially those based on a lot of effective experience. Unbound is such a book, and very usable as a basic introduction to a deliverance ministry. If you are looking for a good book to start with, I recommend this one.” Dr. Charles H. Kraft, School of World Mission, Fuller Theological Seminary

The School of Evangelization, Krasilov – 2002 Below you will find some excerpts from the testimonies we received after our trip to Krasilov. Your partnership with us has made the trip possible, may you share the blessing. (I may not have said things exactly as translated below, but I wanted you to read them just as they were written.)
* At this School I served as an interpreter to Neal and Janet. I had the opportunity to pray with them and I saw how wonderful God used them. During one of our evening prayers with Neal and Janet God set me free. Already for some years I had been suffering from some disease, which was connected with my menstrual cycle. No doctor could find the reason of that disease or the treatment. During the prayer God showed that this disease was connected with the spirit of abortion which existed in my family. I renounced that spirit and God set me free. God also set me free from the evil spirits which had come to my life through my mother, who practices eastern meditation. But that was not all. All my life I was afraid of poverty. When I got married to my husband he had a good job and everything was good. But soon many problems came to our family: loss of job, debts. We did not see any way out, all our efforts failed. During that prayer God showed that those problems were connected with a curse. God broke that curse and set me and my husband free from the spirit of poverty and the fear of it. Through Neal and Janet God did great things to me and to my family! But that prayer was not connected only with me and my family. At the same time it was an intercession prayer for my country – Ukraine. God showed Neal that He wants to set my country free from these spirits of abortion and poverty and to give back spiritual bread to our people! God also said through Neal that He wants to send a spiritual army to Russia, our neighboring country. I thank my God for everything and I thank Neal and Janet Lozano for their hearts and for their service!
* During the prayer of Neal Lozano I have been set free from all evil spirits which came to me through different occult practices and curses. Although it was not my will to participate in those occult things – it was my mother’s will, but still I feel my responsibility.
* God has set me free form the fear of men, fear of violence and from the spirit of helplessness. Now I know that I have the protection – Jesus! Now I have self-dignity. I also thank my God for setting me free from the feeling of abandonment. Finally I can feel myself at the meetings, with other people as in the family, and not lonely. Praise God for this and for many other things.
* At this School of Evangelization I realized that God really loves me. God has set me free from fear, He has given me real forgiveness towards my father for leaving me. I felt I am God’s favorite. Jesus is alive!
* Thank you very much! During your conferences I realized the importance of forgiveness. With the help of your examples I understood how our Father loves us.
* On the 30th of July God gave me the gift of forgiveness… And today (the1st of August), after the lecture of Neal on release and renouncement of occult power I found out very much. Because we people who live in the country, always go to different witchcrafts in case of any disease. I received Jesus in my heart 6 years ago and before that time I went to witchcrafts and took my children and husband; I read horoscopes. And today, after the lecture of Neal, God has shown me my sins. Together with all people I renounced the occult practice, anger and everything about what Neal had told. I repeated everything and I felt very easy in my heart. My heart was burning with love and joy. When I came up to Neal asking for prayer, he said that he saw me in clean water and Jesus had cleaned me and had filled my clean heart with Holy Spirit.
* Through the conferences God showed me my sins about which I had not even guessed. I confessed those sins but I had still something like a stone in my heart. Together with Neal Lozano we renounced the spirits of unforgiveness, the spirits of envy, occult. And when Neal was praying for me he said: “You are swimming in the river of faith’s purification, God likes you.” The stone disappeared from my heart, and I felt joy in my heart and relief. Praise God for that.
Newsletter June, 2001 - Slovakia There are many stories of changed lives. Let me share our favorite. I wrote it hoping that you would sense the blessing that came to this one and receive the fruit of your participation in this trip.
“Good-by. Thank you. Now I have hope!” Anna (not her real name), had seen a lot at nineteen. Her father was frequently absent for periods of time and was emotionally absent as well. Her alcoholic mom and older brother regularly beat her. When she came to us sadness covered her, she was evasive in her speech and was unable to lift her head to look at us as she spoke. She had recently come to the fellowship and had begun to pursue the lord.
Is there anyone you need to forgive? Yes, but I’m afraid I will hurt the person if I tell you…. My mother drinks. Anna if you want to be free you need to let Jesus help you forgive…. Make the decision and say the words and Jesus will do the rest. Do you want to? Yes. Just say… She could not even begin to speak. Then the Lord opened her heart to me and I felt her loneliness and desperation as I prayed for her “Lord Anna has lived in chaos and has never known what to expect. She wanted to fix things but couldn’t.” She began to sob as expression was given to her heartache. “But the thing she doesn’t understand is why you didn’t do anything, she knows you are God and you can do anything. She has cried out to you, she has begged you; she has cried herself to sleep night after night and you did not answer.” Now she was sobbing, wrenching with the pain of her years of agony. Janet and the translator were weeping as God in his mercy allowed us to feel her pain. Then I prayed “ Lord I don’t understand. I don’t understand why you didn’t do something. I don’t know why you didn’t do something.” We all wept together before the Lord.
Now Anna would you renounce a sprit of unforgivness, hurt and torment? Now will you say I forgive you mom? “I forgive you mom for your drinking and for beating me and for rejecting me and for all the confusion and hurt. I forgive you for not loving me the way I needed to be loved.”. Then she renounced her sadness, self-rejection, condemnation, and self-accusation… She was being set free. She has a ways to go but she is in a fellowship of believers who have been trained and are beginning to get experience in how to pray for Anna.
The next day, her smile was beautiful to behold, her personality was a joy to experience. She had a wonderful sense of humor. The sadness was gone. She brought her mom to meet us and before we left she waited by herself for 11/2 hours so she could take her picture with us and say the word’s that still stir our hearts “Thank you, now I have hope.”
